If you live in an area that offers Curbside at your local CVS, but you’re not quite sure exactly how it works, you can checkout all the details here!
What is Curbside?
Open your CVS app on your phone, and you’ll see an image similiar to the above image. When you click that it’ll take you to a screen to enter your zip code. Once you’ve done that, if Curbside is available in your area, you’ll see a list of stores to choose from. Shop from thousands of non-prescription items and have those items delivered right to your car. At the moment CVS Curbside is not available for refill prescriptions. For prescription pick up you’ll need to go into the store or the drive-thru.
How much will I pay for Curbside?
Curbside pickup is completely FREE!
Can I purchase all item through Curbside?
Most in store items are available through Curbside, but not all. More items will continue to be available as the service expands.
Be sure to link your ExtraCare card!
As long as your ExtraCare card is linked to your CVS account your purchases will apply toward quarterly ExtraBucks. You’ll also receive weekly sales ad prices on Curbside pickup orders! Keep in mind that item prices will vary by store.
Can I use my ExtraBucks on my order?
Yes! As long as you have sent any ExtraBucks to your CVS card that you’d like to use, they will be applied AT PICKUP.
How can I redeem personalized offers in my CVS account?
Just like the ExtraBucks, be sure to send any personalized CVS offer to your account. Any qualifying coupons sent to your account will be applied AT PICKUP.
Can I apply Curbside offers to my order?
Yes! You’ll see a coupon code with the offer. The coupon code can be applied during the checkout process in the Promo Code field.
Be sure to turn on your location services & push notifications!
Enabling this function allows CVS to send you status updates, ensure accurate order information and enable pickup.
How to turn on location services & push notifications:
For iOS devices:
- Location Services can be found under Settings > Privacy > Location Services.
- To turn on Notifications, go to Settings > Notifications > CVS > Allow Notifications.
- To turn on Background Refresh, go to Settings > General > Background App Refresh > CVS
For Android devices:
- Location services can be found under Settings > Location > Select “On.”
- To turn on Notifications, go to Settings > Applications > Application manager > CVS > check “Show Notifications.”
- To turn on Background Refresh, go to Settings > Data usage > CVS > make sure “Restrict Background Data” is not checked.
How will I know when my order is ready?
You’ll receive an email and a text message letting you know that your order is ready. In the text message you’ll also receive a link that will give you your pickup instructions. Your pickup pass will also be in the text. When the associate brings out your order, show them your pickup pass. The associate will then scan it to confirm your order.
Can I make changes to my order after I place it?
Changes cannot be made to order after they’re placed.
Can I cancel my order after I place it?
Yes! You can cancel a your order in the app. Look for the link at the bottom of your Order Detail page that allows you to cancel your order.
What happens if I don’t pick up my order?
After 4 days, CVS will cancel your order and return the products to the shelves. Any pending authorization placed on your credit card will be released when the order is canceled. Please allow up to 10 days for the pending charge to be removed from your card.
